This year my husband made dinner for three. We were helping a friend get over a recent break-up- we think the food helped.
Starter - warm mushroom salad with creamy caper dressing (adapted from Entertaining Vegetarians by Celia Brooks Brown)
Main - Fettuccine with scallops, saffron and peppers (adapted from Entertaining Vegetarians by Celia Brooks Brown)
Vegetarian option for me - Fettuccine with tofu, saffron and peppers
Dessert - warm berry samosas with mascarpone cheese
